We warmly congratulate Tekla Péterffy, a former student of our school and an outstanding young member of the Hungarian community, who was yesterday honoured as an Ambassador for Community Languages at the NSW Department of Education gala.
The evening was attended by the NSW Governor, the Minister for Education Prue Car, Secretary Murat Dizdar, Dr Ken Cruickshank, and the Director and Patron of the Community Languages division. Over the coming year, Tekla will play an important role in promoting community languages.
