Remembering Together at the Hungarian House
Over the weekend of 17–18 October, nearly 200 people joined us at the Hungarian House to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight. On Saturday we shared a Hungarian buffet dinner and a family quiz, then watched Freedom’s Fury. On Sunday we came together for a commemorative lunch with live piano music, followed by another screening of the film.
Thank you to everyone who came, to our volunteers, to Gizi’s Kitchen for the wonderful food, and to the Hungarian Trade and Consular Office for providing the film. Watch the highlights below.
