My name is Anna Kedves. I serve as the Public Officer of the Hungarian Council of NSW. As the Public Officer, I am responsible for maintaining accurate records, overseeing statutory obligations, and ensuring transparent and timely reporting to authorities.
My career has been shaped by a mix of international experience and a strong commitment to public service. After early adventures in Europe and working on several OSCE* election missions, I moved to Australia, where Sydney quickly became my home. I went on to study law again, building on my interest in international public policy. This ultimately led me to my current role in regulatory policy in government.

Alongside my professional career, I am deeply committed to giving back to the Hungarian community through this role as Public Officer and by serving on the Executive Committee of the Hungarian Catholic Community and on the Board of St Elizabeth Home.
My passions include social justice, community advocacy, and watching my children thrive as they navigate their own path and proudly embrace their Hungarian heritage in the wonderful multicultural society we live in.
