My name is Krisztina Mészáros, I moved from Zalaegerszeg to Sydney with my family in October 2016. I currently live in Castle Hill with my children and my dog. After arriving in Australia, I completed English language studies at TAFE, and in 2017 I began working at St Elizabeth Home as a Lifestyle Officer. In this role, I organised engaging and meaningful programs for the elderly residents until the end of 2022.
I am currently working as a Lifestyle Officer at Twilight Grace Gardens Aged Care, where I support the physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of residents through a variety of group and individual activities. For several years, I have also been volunteering within the local Hungarian community as a secretary of one of the associations under the Hungarian Federation of NSW.
Maintaining Hungarian culture and community life is very important to me. My children have been students at the Hungarian school in Sydney from the beginning and regularly take part in local Hungarian cultural events.
I spend most of my free time with my children and my dog. We enjoy cycling, going on hikes, and spending time at the beach together, and in the evenings I like to read.
